I have over 25+ years of Human Resources (HR) experience. Led 2 global HR teams and have been providing HR consulting services since 2014. My clients include companies that have gone through rapid expansion (from 300 employees to 2,000 employees in 2-3 years). Have advised and worked with C-suite, Board of Directors and Compensation Committees members.
Game changer for the Human Resources industry: (1) Developed the first electronic survey data collection tool for Towers Perrin Mexico-Compensation Surveys practice in 1998 and in 1999 I was invited to relocate to US from Mexico to expand this project globally. (2) In 2001 contributed to the development of the career level method for compensation framework and talent management. This method has been adopted by most of the HR consulting firms and many companies worldwide. (3) Since 2008 have promoted for my employers and clients the concept of 'goal alignment', in which employee goals need to be aligned with the company's goals and vision. I have also promoted this method with colleagues, and this method has gained traction over the past decade.

I decided working as an independent consultant with two goals in mind: (1) help more than just one company at a time and (2) spend more time with my kids during their kindergarten through high school ages. I have successfully achieved these goals for the past 11 years.
Working as a consultant is very rewarding. I have had the opportunity not only to share my knowledge with my corporate HR teams but with several teams' members from different clients. This way we can make sure we train and develop the future generations of HR professionals. My approach is not only to deliver projects to my clients, but I also make sure their HR team members understand why, what and how I do it. This way I make sure they develop skills, capabilities and get empowered to take over the projects in the future. For some this represents giving up projects, but to me this is the opportunity to engage in the next project or with a new client and have the opportunity to deliver the results they need while at the same time I develop another team of HR professionals.
1. Family. 2. Amateur musician and became a professional music production. I helped my daughter developing her music career and producing her first music album which was published in the second half of 2022 (Girl in the Mirror - Daniela Rangel). 3. Launch business projects. In addition to starting my HR consulting business, in 2014 I launched a small company dedicated to distributing Mexican food products in Texas. Through this company and in 3-4 months only, I helped a Mexican beverage company re-entering into the Texas market after been out of the market for more than 5 years. Roles played in this small family business: procurement, logistics, sales, marketing, distribution, accounting, finance... except HR ;-)
